Job description:

We are looking for a bilingual (French & English) Social Media Manager. You will be responsible for day-to-day social media strategy and execution, including content creation and optimization, developing social media campaigns, and coordinating with stakeholders across the organization.  

Qualifications:

  • 100 % bilingual in French and English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Experience with social networks: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Experience with social media management tools and campaigns, Content Strategy, Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills and SEO is a plus.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and tracking.
  • A creative and analytical mindset.
  • Knowledge of the African continent and diaspora is a plus.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing social networks for Business Africa & Initiative Africa.
  • Weekly content creation in French and English.
  • Monthly and annual reports: social networks, Google Analytics and YouTube.
  • Preparation of presentations and updates (Business Africa & Initiative Africa / Africa On Air / Business Frequency...)
  • WordPress management - Africa On Air
  • Newsletter management
 

Degree:

A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, and PR is a plus.
